TTC Announces Fare Hikes After Facing Budget Cuts

Although, I don't take TTC to work, I believe this will decrease the ridership of the public transits. This will obviously increase the traffic on the rush hours which is already getting worse day by day. This gone to be stop! How can we say we want to decrease the pollution in the city and demotivate people from taking the public transits? This does not impress me from the decreasing popularity of Toronto Mayer.

It's a little ridiculous the government needs to increase the fare every year. Way to go City of Toronto! But I don't think people would take the TTC less frequently if they are frequent TTC riders.

Yes, for people who take TTC frequently, they cannot do anything about it! Is there anyway they can do to protect this rate increase?
