TTC Announces Fare Hikes After Facing Budget Cuts

Adult tickets and tokens, purchased in quantities of 5 or 10, will officially increase by 15 cents each, while the cash fare will remain the same at $2.75 each. The cost of a metro pass will also increase from $99.75 to $109 a month. The price raise was approved by all TTC commissioners after surveys from riders showed people were willing to pay more to keep the current services. The fare hikes will take effect in November. Although, I don't take TTC to work, I believe this will decrease the ridership of the public transits. This will obviously increase the traffic on the rush hours which is already getting worse day by day. This gone to be stop! How can we say we want to decrease the pollution in the city and demotivate people from taking the public transits? This does not impress me from the decreasing popularity of Toronto Mayer.

New Slim Sony PSP

When Sony first announced an updated PSP at 2007's E3 show, a lot of people were straining to see what was so new about it. Full Story

I saw the video previewing the new Slim PSP. Other than iti s slimmer, lighter and has video output. There aren't major improvement over the predecessor. I still believe DSL will still outsell PSP as we are heading to the busy Christmas shopping season.

Rice Paper - Viethai Cuisine

On the weekend, I have tried "Rice Paper" - a Viethai Cuisine for the third time located at 101 Ravel Road (Leslie & Finch).

The interior design of the restaurant is very relax and colorful. I really like the environment of the place where you can chat while you enjoy your food.

I was amazed at the food as I started to love Thai food more and more. I have tried both Lemongrass Pork spring roll noodles and Chicken spring roll noodles. Both dishes taste extremely good. I like the taste of the spring roll. I also ordered a strawberry drink. The drink actually is not too sweet and it was fresh squeezed.

I could recommended the restaurant for casual lunch or dinner.
